All the tools you need to brand your live digital experiences
We have been creating live graphics tools and designing branded graphics for the biggest TV Shows and Live Productions. Now we take that same graphics technology and open it up to you.
HTML-based Live Graphics
Simply said, HTML-based graphics is a live graphics technology that can be designed and animated using web technology (HTML, JS, CSS). Sounds trivial, but its a gamechanger in what live graphics can do.

Previously, live graphics that you would see on TV and Live Events have been created using expensive, proprietary hardware and software; making the entire ecosystem exclusive.

SPX Graphics has been at the forefront of creating an open alternative to live graphics, starting with our open-source SPX graphics controller. Over the past few years, HTML graphics has been gaining traction and is on the verge of changing the entire industry of live graphics and we can't be more excited about it.
SPX Graphics Controller
This is where it all started for us, an open-source software to manage and control HTML graphics. A Node.js app, this lightweight yet powerful graphics controller has the ability to render all of the graphics that the proprietary hardware have been doing; but on a single laptop. Since its initial release in 2020, it has been growing a strong following in the graphics community as well as the broadcasting community, making it the go-to HTML graphics controller for professionals.

Although this specific tool is not directly used in our offering here, it is good to understand the technology that is powering the rest of the tools.
SPX Graphics for Zoom
After seeing the success of SPX GC amidst the pandemic, we saw a dire need for a tool to make online meetings more interactive and engaging.

That is why we created a free Zoom app which allows the users to control and use HTML graphics right on top of their Zoom video. We made it a priority to make the UX as intuitive as possible so that anyone can harness the power of live graphics.

And while there are a couple of other "graphics overlay" apps on the Zoom market, the difference is clear. Those apps can only display static, pre-rendered images on top of your screen with not much function or designability. On the other hand, our app is dynamic and rendered live; meaning that the user is able to change the text, design, image and more in real-time.
SPX Cloud
To meet the increasing demand from our users, we took the popular SPX GC and put it in the cloud. As a fully hosted service, it makes the software even more flexible as production teams can use the same instance from anywhere, from any device.

But we didn't stop there. We created a super useful plugin specifically for the cloud version called Remote Graphics Controller (beta). This tool bridges between SPX GC and Zoom App by enabling the cloud instance to connect with anyone's Zoom and control the graphics for them remotely. You can imagine a remote interview, remote podcast, executive zoom call, or any other situation where the receiver-side does not want to be controlling their own graphics. *This feature is still in beta as of 10/2024*
